CECC chief portrait on canvas

Legendary Taiwanese artist Yen Chen-fa paints a portrait of Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung, who heads the Central Epidemic Command Center, on a vast canvas on a wall outside his studio in Tainan Wednesday. Yen, one of the world's last few remaining film poster painters, said he will present the painting to Chen as a gift during the latter's planned visit to the city Saturday. CNA photo May 27, 2020
