Food, beverage sales soar 43% in August to second-highest ever

Food and beverage industry sales surged by over 43 percent in August to become the second-highest monthly amount for the sector as Father's Day and summer vacation encouraged consumers to spend, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
