Taiwan shares jump more than 200 points to end at record high

Taipei, July 5 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan shot up more than 200 points Monday to close at a new high, driven by strong buying in the electronics sector and some old economy stocks, after the major indexes on the United States markets soared at the end of last week, dealers said.
