TSMC confirms new plant in Arizona

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., (TSMC), the world's largest silicon chip foundry, confirmed on Friday that it will invest US$12 billion to establish a 5-nanometer chip production plant in the U.S. state of Arizona.
