Tsai Ing-wen wraps up Central American tour
Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen's recently concluded visit to Central America was overshadowed by her two transit stops in the United States, which received much more media attention. But the visits to Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador were important in their own right, especially after Taiwan recently lost an ally in West Africa. The four countries are among Taiwan's dwindling number of 21 diplomatic allies.
