More stray dogs adopted during COVID-19

During the COVID-19 pandemic, an animal rescue shelter has found more adoptive families for Taiwan's many abandoned, homeless and abused dogs. That's good news to the animals and families in the U.S., Canada, the Netherlands, and Germany that have adopted them. But Mary Choi, the founder of Mary's Doggies, the organization helping Taiwan's stray dogs settle in homes abroad, says it's still a challenge to find enough flights and passengers to take the dogs overseas to start their new lives.
