Taiwan's rate of unemployment fell 0.09 percentage points from August to 3.99 percent in September, although it was up 0.10 percent year-on-year, according to government figures released on Monday. There were 469,000 people out of work in September, down 11,000 compared with August.The September jobless rate fell to below 4 percent, following 4.02 percent and 4.08 percent in July and August, respectively, according to the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS).
