Taipei, March 13 (CNA) Gmail and Google Drive suffered a global outage Wednesday, with some users complaining they had trouble accessing their emails.

At about 10:55 a.m., people commented on social media and PTT -- an online forum popular in Taiwan -- that they had problems sending email through their Gmail accounts and were unable to access Google Drive.

According to a message posted on Google's GSuite Status Dashboard at 10:53 a.m., both Gmail and Google Drive were experiencing a service disruption.

At 12.44 p.m., Google said in a statement that it was investigating the cause. The company also advised users to check the Google Cloud Status Dashboard and the GSuite Status Dashboard for further updates.

At 2.13 p.m., Google announced that the problem had been resolved and that full service had been resumed.
