The Executive Yuan on Thursday approved the establishment of a renewable energy technology innovation park in the Shalun area of Tainan which will require an estimated NT$50 billion (US$1.58 billion) in investment, according to Cabinet spokesman Hsu Kuo-yung (徐國勇).
