Taipei, May 12 (CNA) Taiwanese tennis players Lee Hsin-han and Hsieh Cheng-peng defeated the top-seeded South African team of Raven Klaasen and Izak Van Der Merwe Saturday to advance to the doubles final of the Busan Open Challenger event.
With a high first-serve success rate, the third-seeded Taiwanese pair topped their opponents 6-3, 6-3 in less than an hour.
Lee and Hsieh will face the unseeded Indian duo of Divij Sharan and Yuki Bhambri in the final Sunday.
In the men's singles semifinals, 175th-ranked Taiwanese tennis player Yang Tsung-hua lost to world No. 492 John Millman of Australia 7-6 (3), 5-7, 7-6 (3) in a match that lasted over three hours.
