Taipei's hiking trails to go smoke-free starting Dec. 31

Taipei, Dec. 29 (CNA) Starting Monday, all hiking trails in Taipei City will become smoke-free, and people who smoke on the trails could face a fine of up to NT$10,000 (US$326), according to the city government's Public Works Department (PWD).
