Canadian MP hails Taiwan, UK as leaders in plastic use reduction

A parliamentarian from the Green Party of Canada urged Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to follow the example of Taiwan, England and Scotland in banning single-use plastic products as the country prepares to promote the adoption of the zero-plastics waste charter at the G7 summit in June.
