Train services resume after broken power line repaired: TRA

Taipei, Nov. 19 (CNA) Train services in northern Taiwan have been fully resumed following repairs to a broken power line, the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) said Sunday.

The incident, which occurred at 3:31 p.m. on an east-west line between Fugang Station in Taoyuan and Hukou Station in Hsinchu County, has impacted the operations of 43 trains and approximately 27,240 passengers, the railway administration said.

Services between the two stations were fully resumed at 7:04 p.m. following nearly four hours of repair, according to the TRA.
