First-stage water rationing measures imposed in southern Taiwan since March may be lifted following heavy rainfall in recent days, while water supply in the north could return to stable supply if the rain continues, Vice Minister of Economic Affairs Yang Wei-fuu (楊偉甫) said on Thursday.
