Revised law may speed up Swiss decision on Lafayette commission

The government is using a revision to the nation's criminal code that will take effect July 1 to request a local court ruling that is expected to speed up a decision by the Swiss authorities to return to Taiwan US$550 million frozen in a deceased arms broker's frozen bank account.
