427 geese culled in Tainan due to new bird flu strain

A total of 427 geese have been culled on a farm in Tainan after the facility was confirmed to have been infected with a new highly pathogenic strain of the H5N2 avian influenza virus, the Council of Agriculture (COA) said Tuesday.
