Protesters reject scholars' call for dialogue on textbook guidelines

Taipei, Aug. 2 (CNA) Five private university presidents made an announcement Sunday calling for student protesters outside the Ministry of Education (MOE) to withdraw as soon as possible and begin a rational dialogue with the ministry, but it was swiftly rejected by the protesters.
