Environment Minister Wei Kuo-yen (魏國彥) said following the passage of the Greenhouse Gases Reduction and Management Act in the Legislature Monday that Taiwan has entered an age of carbon reduction and can take advantage of this to boost job opportunities, economic development and industrial upgrading.
