2nd-phase water rationing may be lifted in parts of northern Taiwan

Taipei, May 21 (CNA) With the arrival of a plum rain front that brought heavy downpours to Taiwan on Wednesday, water authorities are likely to lift second-phase water rationing imposed in areas near Shihmen Reservoir (石門水庫) in Taoyuan, which supplies most northern Taiwanese cities, the Water Resource Agency (WRA) said on Thursday.
