Labor group unhappy with proposal to raise the minimum wage

Taipei, Aug. 30 (CNA) A proposal on Friday by the Ministry of Labor's minimum wage review committee to raise Taiwan's monthly and hourly minimum wages by about 4 percent next year failed to satisfy the Taiwan Labour Front, an activist organization, but apparently pleased students with part-time jobs.
