Foreign visitor arrivals soar in first half of 2014

Foreign visitor arrivals to Taiwan surged 26 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2014 to 4.82 million, the Tourism Bureau said Friday, putting the country on pace to meet its goal of 9 million arrivals for the full year.
