Taiwan seeking Japan's official stance on CPTPP bid: foreign minister

The Japanese government has not yet responded to a request to clearly indicate whether it will support Taiwan's efforts to join a Japan-led international economic bloc, Foreign Minister Joseph Wu (吳釗燮) said Monday.
