Lawmakers call for rational dialogue after gay marriage ruling

Taipei, May 24 (CNA) The ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and opposition Kuomintang legislative caucuses called for rational dialogue in the society to reach a consensus on same-sex marriage, while the minority New Power Party said the Legislature should deal with the issue soon, following a Constitutional Court ruling in favor of gay marriage.
