Taipei, April 23 (CNA) A Kuomintang (KMT) chairman hopeful on Sunday called on the leaders of his party and the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to denounce the vandalizing of statues of Japanese engineer Yoichi Hatta and late President Chiang Kai-shek (蔣介石).
