TSMC chairman rejects position as presidential adviser (update)

Taipei, Dec. 9 (CNA) Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) Chairman Morris Chang (張忠謀) has declined an offer to become a senior adviser to President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), the company said in a statement Friday.
