Taiwan's Coast Guard Administration (CGA) said Wednesday that it will step up efforts to protect Taiwanese fishermen's fishing rights in international waters, in response to the seizure of a Taiwanese fishing boat by the Japanese authorities near the disputed Okinotori reef in the Pacific earlier in the week.
