Taiwan stricter on visa applications in wake of terrorist attacks

Taiwan has adopted more stringent screening measures for visa applications of people coming from countries that are deemed to have the slightest connection to the recent terrorist attacks, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs official said Thursday.
