The ruling Kuomintang (KMT) spokesman Thursday expressed deep regret over former KMT Chairman Lien Chan's (連戰) presence at a massive military parade marking the 70th anniversary of the end of the War of Resistance against Japan (1937-1945) in Beijing held earlier that day, saying that his attendance was beyond understanding.
