Lien's attendance of China's WWII anniversary parade improper: Ma

President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) said Saturday that it is "inappropriate" for former Vice President Lien Chan (連戰) to attend the World War II commemorative activities in Beijing, including a military parade next week.
