DPP lawmaker hints at resumption of conscription policy

Taipei, April 20 (CNA) Opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP, 民進黨) Legislator Hsiao Bi-khim (蕭美琴) on Monday questioned the viability of Taiwan moving toward an all-volunteer military force, raising the possibility of conscription should the DPP retake power in 2016.
