KMT accuses Taipei mayor of hiring political hitman

Taipei, Feb. 1 (CNA) The ruling Kuomintang (KMT) on Sunday issued a statement accusing independent Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je (柯文哲) of appointing a political "hitman" to the city's new Clean Government Commission with the aim of hurting the party that had ruled the capital uninterrupted from 1998 to 2014.
