President supports MAC decision to remove former deputy chief

Taipei, Aug. 20 (CNA) President Ma Ying-jeou was aware of and fully supported the decision by the head of the Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) to remove Chang Hsien-yao as the council's deputy chief and have him investigated, Ma's spokeswoman Ma Wei-kuo said Wednesday.
