Taipei, April 22 (CNA) Premier Jiang Yi-huah Tuesday tried to pay a visit to former Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Chairman Lin Yi-hsiung but did not get to meet with the opposition heavyweight, who began a hunger strike that day to protest Taiwan's fourth nuclear power plant.
