DPP lawmakers launch 70-hour fast on cross-strait trade pact row

Three opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) lawmakers began a 70-hour hunger strike Tuesday in protest over a unilateral move by the ruling Kuomintang (KMT) to deliver a trade-in-service agreement with China straight to the legislative floor.
