Taipei, Sept. 17 (CNA) A group of senior civil servants recently concluded a training program at the Federal Executive Institute (FEI) in the United States, the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission said Monday.
The group, led by Lee Sung-hsien, deputy chief of the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission, visited the U.S. Congress and the United States Agency for International Development during the two-week training program, which concluded Sept. 14.
FEI, an executive and management development and training center for government leaders, offers values-based leadership development opportunities through an interagency residential learning experience, the commission said in a statement.
All of the civil servants in the group passed the course and received certificates from FEI Director Dr. Suzanne G. Logan, the commission said.
Meanwhile, Logan is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at an international forum on human resource management in public service in Taipei on Oct. 15-16.
