Codex ractopamine decision not to change Taiwan's U.S. beef policy
Taipei, July 5 (CNA) The latest vote by the Codex Alimentarius Commission on the safety of allowed levels of the leanness-enhancing drug ractopamine in meat will not change Taiwan's policy to allow U.S. beef imports containing the additive, a government spokesman said Thursday.
