NT$100 million Taiwan Grand Lottery jackpot still unclaimed

Taipei, Dec. 11 (CNA) A NT$100 million (US$3.24 million) jackpot for Taiwan's Grand Lottery (大樂透) in the Oct. 2 draw is still unclaimed, the Taiwan Lottery said Tuesday.

The sole winning lottery ticket was sold in Keelung's Zhongzheng District, but the owner has yet to claim the prize, according to Taiwan Lottery General Manager Tsai Kuo-chi (蔡國基).

The winning numbers for the Taiwan Grand Lottery 6/49 Oct. 2 were 02, 08, 16, 33, 42 and 47, plus the special number 14, according to the company.

If the lottery winnings go unclaimed by the deadline of Jan. 2, 2019, they will be forfeit.

The biggest unclaimed jackpot for Taiwan's Grand Lottery on record is a NT$205 million prize that was won April 14, 2008 in Taipei, followed by NT$199 million April 26, 2011 in Kaohsiung and NT$102 million Feb. 2, 2018 in Taitung, according to the company.
