11 invoices carrying NT$10 million prize in July-August draw

Taipei, Oct. 2 (CNA) A total of 11 receipts issued in July and August have the winning number for the NT$10 million (US$325,993) special prize in the latest uniform invoice lottery draw, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced Tuesday.

Amongst the 11 receipts, one belongs to a person who spent NT$10 on a newspaper at a convenience store in Taipei's Wenshan District, according to the MOF, which operates the uniform invoice lottery.

Another winner was a person who paid NT$15 in processing fees at a convenience store in New Taipei's Banqiao District.

Other winners include someone who purchased a beverage for NT$20 and another who paid NT$30 in parking fees at a convenience store in Taipei's Beitou District and a parking lot in Taoyuan's Zhongli District, respectively, the MOF website noted.

There were also 16 receipts that won the NT$2 million grand prize.

To collect their prizes, winners must take their winning receipts and proof of identification to any post office between Oct. 6, 2018 and Jan. 7, 2019, the ministry said.

The MOF also noted that there remain five unclaimed NT$10 million prizes from the May-June draw, which can still be claimed by Nov. 5.
