Taipei, Jan. 23 (CNA) Four NT$10 million (US$331,000) uniform invoice lottery prizes for the September-October period remain unclaimed, the Ministry of Finance said Tuesday, and it urged holders of the invoices to claim their prizes before the March 5 deadline.

The four outstanding receipts, for sales invoices issued in September and October of last year, all had the winning invoice number 26638985.

These receipts were respectively issued at the RT-Mart on Zhongxiao Road in Hsinchu City for food items worth NT$1,480, at a CPC gas station on Haibin Road in New Taipei's Ruifang District for NT$1,032 in gas, at a PX Mart on Fengshi Road in Taichung's Dongshi District for a NT$1,320 purchase, and at the Taiwan Water Corp.'s office on Shuangshi Road in northern Taichung for a water bill of NT$521.

The MOF also said there remain three outstanding receipts with the number 37266877 that won NT$2 million prizes but have yet to be claimed.

Given the many unclaimed uniform invoice lottery prizes, MOF officials have recommended that consumers take advantage of electronic receipts, which allow consumers holding a winning receipt to be notified directly so there is no fear of missing out on a cash prize.

The winning uniform invoice numbers for November and December of last year will be released later this week on Thursday.
