Taipei, Sept. 22 (CNA) Four NT$10 million (US$331,000) uniform invoice lottery prizes remain unclaimed, according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance (MOF) Friday, which urged holders of the invoices to step forward and claim their prizes.

The four outstanding receipts, for sales invoices issued in the May to June period of this year, all bear the prize number 99768846.

These receipts were respectively issued at the Uni-President Taipei mall for clothes worth NT$690, at a National Petroleum Co. gas station on Roosevelt Road in Taipei's Zhongshan District for NT$1,000 in gas, at a FamilyMart on New Taipei City's Jingping Road for cold noodles and tea eggs for NT$148, and at a Wellcome supermarket in New Taipei City's Zhonghe District for coffee at NT$15.

The MOF further reported that there are also four outstanding receipts for the NT$2 million prize that require claiming.

These outstanding receipts, all bearing the numbers 83660478, were issued at a drink store in Taoyuan for NT$75, at a restaurant in Tainan for NT$70, at a PX Mart in Tainan for NT$139 and at a 7-Eleven in Kaohsiung for NT$28.

Given the prevalence of unclaimed uniform invoice lottery prizes, MOF officials have recommended consumers take advantage of electronic receipts, which allow consumers holding a winning receipt to be notified directly so there is no fear of missing out on a cash prize.

Individuals who are in possession of the winning receipts have until Nov. 6 to claim their prizes.
