Taipei, Aug. 15 (CNA) The Harry Potter Film Concert Series will be held Sept. 27-29 and Dec. 2 at the National Concert Hall in Taipei, according to a statement issued by the organizer of the concerts Wednesday.

The Evergreen Symphony and Taiwan National Choir will perform John Williams' original score live while movies from the Harry Potter series are shown on a 40-foot screen above them at National Concert Hall, the Management of New Arts said in the statement.

The orchestra will accompany the first film in the series "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" on Sept. 27, and the second in the series "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" on Sept. 28 and 29, it noted.

On Dec. 2, the orchestra will accompany the third film in the series "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," it added.

Since the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Concert in June 2016, more than a million fans have flocked to the presentations from J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World, which are scheduled to include more than 600 performances in 38 countries worldwide in 2018.

Tickets for the Taiwan concerts will go on sale at noon Friday on the ERA Ticket website, the organizer said.
