Stipend for Chinese language teachers in Southeast Asia to be raised

The Ministry of Education announced Wednesday that it will increase to US$1,500 the monthly stipend it pays to individuals from Taiwan who enroll on a government program to encourage the teaching of Chinese language in India and Southeast Asia.
