Taipei, Aug. 20 (CNA) "Lucy," French director Luc Besson's new action thriller, released in Taipei Wednesday, has helped boost Taiwan's popularity amid the country's efforts to bring itself to the world stage, the United States-based Wall Street Journal said Tuesday.
