Taiwan shares end slightly higher amid renewed Middle East tensions

Shares in Taiwan closed slightly higher Friday as investors moved to the sell side to lock in an earlier almost 100 point upturn in the wake of reemerging geopolitical concerns after an Iraqi TV report said a senior Iranian military commander was killed in a Baghdad airstrike, dealers said.
