Number of furloughed workers in Taiwan spikes in 1st half of August

Taipei, Aug. 16 (CNA) The number of workers on unpaid leave in Taiwan as of the first half of August had jumped by more than 1,300 from the second half of July, the Ministry of Labor (MOL) said Friday.
