Scholars praise minimum wage hike, warn of possible negative effects

Taipei, Aug. 14 (CNA) Taiwan scholars on Wednesday praised a Ministry of Labor (MOL) committee decision earlier in the day to raise the minimum wage next year, but also warned of possible negative effects, including commodity price hikes.
