Taiwan shares dive below 10,600 points on tariff threat

Shares in Taiwan took a beating Friday, plunging nearly 2 percent after a surprise announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump overnight that the United States will impose 10 percent tariffs on an additional US$300 billion in Chinese goods, dealers said.
