Chinese yuan deposits continue to fall to 5-year low

Taipei, June 22 (CNA) Chinese yuan deposits held by banks operating in Taiwan continued to fall to the lowest level in five years at the end of May partly due to rising demand for the Chinese currency for bond investments in the month, according to the central bank.
