The average regular wage in Taiwan rose 2.95 percent in August, marking the ninth consecutive month of an over- 2 percent year-on-year increase at a time when an economic recovery has encouraged employers to raise compensation for their employees, according to the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS).
