Taiwan shares dive below 10,800 points amid concerns over Turkey

Shares in Taiwan took a beating Monday, falling more than 200 points to close below the 10,800-point mark as a sell-off was triggered by concerns over Turkey, the currency of which plunged against the U.S. dollar in the wake of higher tariffs proposed by the United States government, dealers said.
